Deputy Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan dies of new crown virus
On the 14th local time, Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Defence’s press release issued a message saying that Major General Bakht Kurmanbayev, deputy minister of defense, died on the 14th due to infection with the new coronavirus, at the age of 50.

Kurmanbayev graduated from Kazakhstan in 1993 Stan Ali Farabi National University, studied at the Army Air Defense Military Academy in 2005, and graduated from the Advanced Academy of Military Academy of the General Staff of the Russian Federation Armed Forces in 2008. In 2009, Major General Kurmanbayev was appointed Deputy Minister of Defense, responsible for logistics, weapons and military equipment, and medical support.
