Scientists discovered”mysterious bugs” in the Philippines and lived on stones
There are too many magical creatures on this planet where we humans live. For example, bats that rely on sound waves to identify their positions, and tigers and lions with strong muscles. But these creatures still belong to the”normal biological category” in the eyes of human beings. But later scientists discovered a”mysterious bug” in the Philippines. They don’t eat meat or plants, they actually eat hard stones, and their waste is all sand.
Because scientists have temporarily named them”rock-eating beasts”, after some careful research, scientists have found that their mouths are as sharp as razors, and they can easily eat various stones. Even hard granite, marble, etc. can easily leave their marks on it.
And one of the insects can make a living by eating stone, mainly because it can separate the lime in the stone. In the lime, there are some organics that the insects need. They rely on these organics to maintain their energy. So after digesting these organic matter, the stone becomes sand and will be excreted from the body.
Seeing that they have such a big appetite, many scientists are inevitably worried. If they multiply on a large scale, wouldn’t it threaten human urban buildings in the future? After all, most of the buildings in our city are made of”stone and lime”, which can be regarded as”sweet buns” in their eyes. Fortunately, they only exist in the Philippines, and no traces of them have been found elsewhere. So humans still have a lot of time to understand and deal with this creature.
