The”U.S.-Japan Security Treaty” is a military alliance treaty signed between Japan and the United States at the US Army Sixth Army Command in San Francisco on September 8, 1951. This treaty not only constitutes the legal basis for subordinating Japan to the United States It also allows the United States to establish, expand, and use military bases in Japan almost unlimitedly. Regarding the so-called”U.S.-Japan Security Treaty applies to the Diaoyu Islands” related remarks, the spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated many times before that China has expressed serious concern and firm opposition to the remarks made by Japan and the United States.
