Porzingis will be absent from the beginning of the season and plans to return on January 1
Lone Ranger Basketball Operations President Donny Nelson told reporters that Kristaps Porzingis will miss part of the game at the beginning of the season due to his recovery from an injury.
The Lone Ranger set January 1, US time as the target time for Porzingis’ comeback.
Porzingis was injured in the first round of the playoffs against the Clippers. He was injured in early October. Underwent meniscus repair surgery.
Porzingis averaged 20.4 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2 blocks per game last season.
