The 4th International Student Essay and Short Video Contest Awards Ceremony Held
China News Service, Beijing, December 8th (Reporter Ma Haiyan) The 4th International Student Essay and Short Video Contest Awards Ceremony was held online on the 8th. The essay competition received more than 1,100 submissions from more than 100 universities and individuals.
The essay competition was officially launched in May this year. It has received strong support from Chinese colleges and universities, Chinese embassies and consulates abroad, and positive responses from international students and graduates in China, attracting Wuhan Extensive participation of international students from the region. The works involve various fields of Chinese social life, especially the hot social topics such as joint fight against the “epidemic” and poverty alleviation, showing the enthusiasm of studying in China.
Finally, the organizer selected 3 first prizes, 5 second prizes, 20 third prizes, and 32 outstanding prizes. The title of “My Beautiful Encounter with China-My 2020” Book titles are published together.
This year’s contest was added to the short video format for the first time. The short video contest received a total of more than 330 individual video works submitted by more than 80 universities and students, and 46 special prize works and high-quality works were finally selected.
The event is sponsored by the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange of the Ministry of Education and undertaken by the Study Abroad Service Center of the Ministry of Education.
