CBA Beijing Enterprises foreign aid explained the suspension of the storm: will maintain their off-court rights
Before Chinanews.com, April 9th , The Chinese Basketball Association revoked the notice that Beijing Enterprises’ foreign aid Joseph Yang was suspended for failing to implement the basketball arbitration tribunal (BAT) ruling. After the incident, Joseph Yang himself responded to the incident through social media. He said he would safeguard his off-site rights and thanked Beijing Enterprises for his support.
Previously, Joseph Young had a dispute with the former brokerage company CGL SPORTS. In February 2021, Joseph Young signed a contract with the agency YM APAA Sports. CGL Sports filed an arbitration with BAT, and the basketball arbitration tribunal ruled that Joseph Young should compensate CGL Sports, but Joseph Young did not execute it.
Joseph Young said that after he returned to the United States in August 2020 to end the quarantine, he learned that the basketball arbitration court had made a ruling in June 2020, and the FIBA did not notify him. Under the circumstances, he was punished.
At present, the Chinese Basketball Association has received the proof that Joseph Yang paid the corresponding amount on April 7, 2021. In addition, Beijing Enterprises Basketball Club Co., Ltd. issued and submitted a letter of guarantee to the Chinese Basketball Association on April 8, 2021, to guarantee the authenticity, validity and completeness of J Joseph Yang’s execution of the BAT ruling.
Although the incident has been calmed down, Joseph Young still said: “I will protect my off-site rights, and I am deeply grateful to them (Beijing Enterprises) for their support.” (End)
