Chile announces that it will expand the coverage of the epidemic subsidy, the president calls for unity to fight the epidemic
China News Service, April 20. According to the South American Overseas Chinese News Network, in order to help Chilean families solve practical difficulties, President Pinera announced on April 19 that the government will decide to expand the coverage of “New Crown Emergency Family Income” (IFE) range.
p > It is reported that, unlike the situation in early 2021, the IFE epidemic subsidy will no longer impose restrictions on the epidemic prevention stage of the applicant’s place of residence. In other words, the applicant can log on to the relevant website to submit an application regardless of where the applicant resides in the epidemic prevention stage. At that time, the relevant departments will select families with more difficult financial conditions after comparative screening and grant them subsidies.
According to regulations, each eligible applicant can receive subsidies. However, the upper limit of the number of IFE applicants from the same family is 10, and starting from the fifth applicant in the same family, the upper limit of the amount of subsidies available to each person begins to decrease.
At the scene of the announcement of this decision, Chilean President Piñera said: “In the face of the ongoing new crown epidemic, the Chilean government has been committed to protecting the safety and health of our compatriots and improving the quality of life for you.”< /p>
Piniella also called on the people to stay united and jointly deal with this health crisis. “I know that the Chilean people are courageous, and the people are the soul of this country. I believe that we will be able to overcome this crisis and restore society to normal.”
