Recently, China’s first toll self-driving bus was officially put into trial operation on the road in Yongchuan District, Chongqing. As a self-driving bus for open road operations, its body is about 5.9 meters long, has 4 lidars, 2 millimeter wave radars, and 7 monocular cameras, which can achieve precise stops and respond to bus stop scenes and more complex The road conditions of the city meet the needs of normal bus operation. At present, a total of 3 self-driving buses have been put into operation in this area, and their routes pass through Shennv Lake, Agricultural Machinery School, Xinglong Lake and other stations, with a bidirectional mileage of nearly 10 kilometers. Passengers can make reservations in advance through APP ports such as Baidu Maps and Yongchuan Service Commune, and experience self-driving bus travel. The single fare per person is 2 yuan.
