This is the first time that the Long March 4 series of carrier rockets have used this configuration fairing at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the mission, the model team carried out a detailed review of the launch site workflow and carried out fairing unloading and recovery exercises during the parallel period of the previous missions. At the same time, this rocket adopts high-altitude wind compensation technology, which reduces the additional load caused by high-altitude wind and further improves the mission adaptability of the Long March 4 series of carrier rockets.

The Remote Sensing No. 34 satellite launched this time is an optical remote sensing satellite with a ground pixel resolution of meters. It is mainly used for land surveys, urban planning, land right confirmation, road network design, and crop yield estimation. It can provide information guarantee for the implementation of major national strategies such as the “Belt and Road” initiative in areas such as disaster prevention and mitigation.
