A MiG-21 fighter jet crashed in the Indian Air Force, a pilot killed
China News Service, May 21. According to “India Today” reports, Indian officials said that in the early morning of the 21st local time, a MiG-21 fighter jet crashed near the Moga area in Punjab, and an Indian Air Force pilot was killed.
This incident occurred at around 1:00 a.m. local time on the 21st. Air Force officials said the fighter was undergoing routine training when the accident occurred.

The Indian Air Force stated on the social networking site: “A fighter of the Indian Air Force was involved in an accident in the west. The pilot Chowdhury was fatally injured. The Indian Air Force expressed condolences for this tragedy and firmly established The families of the victims stood together.”
The Indian Air Force stated that the investigative court has been ordered to find out the cause of the accident. This is the third MiG-21 crash in India since 2021.
