Dr. Xilame of Tel Aviv University said that this discovery reshaped the story of human evolution. The research team believes that early members of the “Nesher-Ramla humanoid” appeared in the Near East about 400,000 years ago. They also noticed the similarities between the newly discovered human group and the “Neanderthal” group in ancient Europe.
