On August 29, 2019, the artemisinin research center of the first phase project of the Chinese Academy of Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Park of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, contracted by Beijing Construction Engineering, held a groundbreaking ceremony, and the project started construction. Through the adjustment of the scaffold base, the buckle-type floor-standing scaffold with a body volume of 60,000 cubic meters can adjust the elevation according to the base condition of the bottom. Hu Wei pointed out that the special-shaped structure of the overhanging part requires that the concrete pouring of the 9-layer beams and slabs must be completed at one time, and no construction joints should be left. For this reason, the project team will be assigned to the concrete mixing plant to be responsible for the production, supply, and production of concrete. Supervise and coordinate transportation, and use tower cranes and truck pumps for pouring on site to ensure that the structural template can be removed only after the test results of the test blocks under the same conditions reach 100%. Through rigorous construction process management, the concrete structural members created by the Beijing Construction Engineering project team are dense, clear in nodes, strong in the inside and beautiful in the outside, giving this “the country’s largest artemisia annua” strong “muscles and bones”.
He said that next the project will enter the secondary structure and electrical and mechanical installation construction, and will gradually insert indoor and outdoor decoration construction, and the project is expected to be completed in August 2022.
