The 18th China-ASEAN Expo and the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit will close today (13th). The cooperation between the two sides in economic, trade, investment and other fields has been further strengthened. As the pace of my country’s opening to the outside world continues to accelerate, the all-round cooperation between China and ASEAN is also deepening.
Channel new opportunities, the China-ASEAN Multimodal Transport Alliance Service Center was unveiled at the summit. It will create a China-ASEAN multimodal transport logistics service model represented by sea-rail combined transport, and accelerate the interconnection of infrastructure between the two sides.

In terms of investment, As of the end of June this year, the total mutual investment between China and ASEAN countries exceeded US$310 billion. The two sides have steadily expanded their investment cooperation in the fields of manufacturing, agriculture, infrastructure, high-tech, and digital economy.
With the acceleration of the construction of new land-sea corridors and the signing of the RCEP agreement, China-ASEAN interconnection cooperation will be intensified, trade and investment facilitation between the two sides will be greatly improved, and mutual markets will be more open.
