the passengers of this space flight include actor William Shatner, who once played Captain Kirk in star trek in the last century. The 90 year old Shatner, the oldest space tourist, broke the record set by Wally funk, 82, in the last “blue origin” space flight. The 90 year old veteran actor is famous for playing James T. Kirk, captain of the Starship Enterprise in the famous science fiction TV series Star Trek

Shatner said happily in a statement last week: “space (the word) has been heard for a long time for me. It’s a miracle that I’m going to see it myself this time.” he also praised the founder of blue origin for his “excellent” and “practical” vision to the media. When asked what he intended to do after he arrived in space, the actor said he would “see the vastness of space and the fragility of the earth” and “continue this theme in my thoughts and work.”

as a music artist, Shatner has also released more than 10 albums. He said he plans to write a song about the space experience in his next album. “I want to write about my love for the earth,” Shatner said in an interview

Bezos, founder of blue origin, personally drove four passengers of the new Shepard ns-18 to the launch site. 15 minutes before the launch, Bezos personally closed the hatch. Before entering the cabin, the four crew members all performed a “bell ringing” punch in ceremony

different from the free flight experience provided by blue origin for Shatner, Chris boshuizen is a paying passenger of the space trip. Frith said he was glad to have the opportunity to participate in the space trip. “Space has always been the domain of governments, and there will be five private space flights in 2021, which is of great significance. I think when we look back this year in 50 years, we will find that this is actually the beginning of the public entering space and opening up the space frontier. Therefore, I think it is a very exciting moment to do so with these staff,” he said

the first manned flight of blue origin was on July 20 this year. The four passengers participating in the flight included Jeff Bezos, the founder and super rich of blue origin, his brother Mark Bezos, Wally Fink, a female Aerospace pioneer, and Oliver Damon, a college student. (Guilin)
