NASA launched a series of virtual activities to celebrate the international moon night

the week’s celebration began with the “global Moon Party” on October 9, then continued with social media activities and ended with the international moon observation night on October 16. Public participation will continue until October 23

the moon on October 16 will be a residual moon, which provides a good opportunity to watch along the end point, the boundary between night and day

the moon is a stepping stone to understand our solar system, milky way and universe. This year’s event, which coincides with the launch date of the Lucy mission to explore Trojan asteroids, will help us better understand the origin of our solar system

NASA has been pursuing lunar exploration for decades. Later this year, the space launch system (SLS) rocket will be launched – the first in a series of missions. In the next few years, the first woman and the first colored man will land on the moon through the Artemis program
