Suining, December 1 (Zou Liyang, Qu Chaoying) “every piece of porcelain is the mark of time, and every bowl can see the echo of history.” on November 30, the field archaeological investigation in Suining section of Fujiang River Basin was officially launched. Subsequently, the archaeological investigation team found a Song Dynasty kiln on the Bank of Zijiang River in Suining City

the kiln site is located near Yaobao, Shuangmiao village, Tianxian Town, Shehong City, and is located on the third-class platform on the left bank of Zijiang River. The archaeological investigation team found a large number of utensil fragments 60 cm below the surface, which were in black, brown, yellow, green and other glaze colors. After identification, there were bowls, bowls and other utensils, washers, pad cakes, saggers and other kiln utensils

according to the archaeological survey team, the cultural appearance of the kiln site here is consistent with that of Chuanshan Longfeng kiln. This is an important new discovery, which truly reflects the local social production situation in the Song Dynasty. The investigation team will continue to conduct a comprehensive and in-depth investigation of the kiln site in the near future

it is understood that the investigation of Suining section starts from Zijiang River, a primary tributary of Fujiang River. It mainly focuses on underground remains, and focuses on Bashu cultural sites in the Shang and Zhou dynasties in Pingba and secondary and tertiary platforms on both sides of the Zijiang River; In the hillside and nearby gentle slope area along Pingba, the relics and possible buried areas of Han, Wei, Tang and Song dynasties are mainly investigated

Zijiang River, also known as Zitong River, is the largest and most important tributary of Fujiang River. It originates from Dazhu bay at the southeast foot of datouyan, Longmen Mountains, Yanmen Township, northwest of Jiangyou City, enters Suining through Jiangyou, Zitong, Santai and Yanting in Mianyang, and flows into Fujiang River at wangjiazui, Longbaoshan, Guangxing Town, Shehong. The flow is 340 kilometers, with a drainage area of 5200 square kilometers, accounting for 1 / 7 of the drainage area of Fujiang River. The low mountains, hills and Pingba area that flows through has been a paradise for human beings since ancient times

the two teams of this field archaeological investigation are composed of experts and technicians from Suining Cultural Relics Protection Institute and Shehong Cultural Relics Management Institute. The survey starts with the collection and analysis of existing archaeological achievements, historical documents and maps, as well as geological and hydrological data in the proposed survey area

the two teams will launch along both banks of the Zijiang River, advance synchronously and cooperate with each other. Conduct ground survey in the proposed survey area, ask local guides, look for stratigraphic sections and collect ground samples. Properly flatten the section or drill individual holes to understand the scope and accumulation of the remains. The specific contents include the location, scope and area of the survey object, accumulation status, cultural appearance, age, environment and preservation status, etc

at the same time, the archaeological investigation team will make investigation records in three forms: text, mapping and image. For important inscriptions and inscriptions, rubbings and records shall be made on the premise of ensuring the safety of cultural relics. (end)
