Strong cold air will affect the weakening and westward movement of Typhoon “compass” in most areas of China
Beijing, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) according to the website of the Central Meteorological Observatory, affected by strong cold air, from the 14th to the 17th, most parts of central and eastern China will have strong winds and cooling weather from north to south. Typhoon “compass” has weakened to tropical storm level at night on the 13th. At 5 o’clock in the morning of the 14th, its center is located in the central sea of the Beibu Gulf. It is expected to land along the coast of northern Vietnam around this evening.
